JAB Consult comply with ethical and legislative assessment practices and use tests that have been found to be valid, reliable, unbiased, fair and compliant with labour legislation. The Employment Equity Act No 55 of 1998 states that psychological testing and other assessments are prohibited unless they meet strict guidelines. Furthermore, according to the Health Professions Act No 56 of 1974, instruments that measure psychological constructs may only be used, interpreted and controlled by psychologists and individuals registered with the Professional Board of Psychology (HPCSA).
